Filming Amboseli Elephants!
Many years I was filming Amboseli Elephants and over time, I got really close to one particular family. I was following this family for our documentary “An Elephant Away”. After I have spend many hours with the gentle giants, I got accepted in their space which later on enabled me to get some unique shots of their new, two day old family member.
An experience I will never forget. The young elephant bull was very curious in our filming vehicle and endet up walking towards us and touching the film door. His mom gently used her trunk to pull him slowly away from the vehicle. Still getting goose bumps thinking back of this day! This is why I love beeing a wildlife camera operator!!!
